Contributor Guidelines

Contributor Guidelines

SEO Agency Wales accepts contributions from practitioners, business owners, and researchers with genuine expertise in search engine optimisation or related fields. This page explains what we are looking for and how to submit.

What We Accept

We consider the following formats: how-to guides based on practical experience, news analysis with named sources and clear reasoning, opinion pieces with a clear argument supported by evidence, and Q&A pieces where the contributor has genuine knowledge to share.
We do not accept content produced for link-building purposes, guest posts from agencies on behalf of clients, or articles that promote specific products or services without genuine editorial context.

Standards

All submitted content must meet the following standards. Articles should be original and not published elsewhere. Claims that are not common knowledge must be supported by named, verifiable sources. No fabricated statistics or invented case studies. UK English throughout. No promotional language or sales framing. No em dashes.

Submitted content should be between 800 and 1,500 words for analysis and features, and between 1,200 and 2,000 words for practical guides. News analysis pieces can be shorter: 400 to 800 words.

The Submission Process

Send a brief pitch via the contact form before writing a full article. Your pitch should describe the proposed topic in two or three sentences, the main argument or practical takeaway, your relevant background or credentials, and any sources you intend to cite.

We will respond to pitches within five working days. If your pitch is accepted, we will confirm the word count, structure, and deadline. We may edit accepted articles for style, clarity, and adherence to our editorial standards. Contributors are notified of any significant changes before publication.

Author Bios

Every article requires a contributor bio of 30 to 60 words. The bio should include your name, your role or professional background, and one sentence of relevant context. Bios may include a link to a personal website or LinkedIn profile. Links to commercial service providers are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Rights

By submitting an article, you confirm that the content is your original work, that you hold the rights to it, and that publication on this site does not infringe any third-party rights. SEO Agency Wales retains the right to publish and archive accepted articles indefinitely.

Corrections Policy

Corrections Policy

SEO Agency Wales is committed to accuracy. Where published content contains a factual error, we will correct it promptly and note the correction at the foot of the relevant article.

How to Request a Correction

Use the contact form to submit a correction request. Your message should include the URL of the article you believe contains an error, the specific claim you consider inaccurate, and any source or evidence that supports a correction.
We review all correction requests within five working days. Where a correction is warranted, it is made to the article and a correction note is added at the foot of the page in the following format: Correction: [date]. [Description of what was corrected and what the correct information is.]

What We Do Not Correct

We do not alter editorial judgements, change opinions expressed by named contributors, or remove articles on the basis that their subject matter is uncomfortable. Correction requests must relate to factual inaccuracies, not disagreements with editorial positions.

Disputed Corrections

If you believe a correction request has been wrongly declined, you may resubmit with additional evidence. We will review the supplementary information and respond within five working days.
